Ashton's fiance Andy played for UTEP and is a coach now. Until I met him at our engagement session I only knew him by Ashton's nickname for him, "the coach". It's literally in my schedule that way: Ashton and The Coach. So naturally at the end of our session Ashton took her hair down, donned his helmet and worked it out.

If you've followed my blog for awhile, you'll also recognize Cecy. I absolutely LOVE shooting with her! She's crazy creative and designs most of the clothes she wears in our shoots. This year we went a little Bollywood and then finished up with some great desert shots in the wind. Look for Cecy to pop up here again! Next year I'm thinking old Mexican churches...

Rudy and Roman

You may recognize these little guys from previous posts. I love their mom Alicia and the fact that she likes pictures of her kids just playing with their favorite toys or riding their bikes around the yard. Her instructions are always simple...shoot Rudy's gorgeous curly head and Roman whenever he'll let you! This is how I photograph my own kids. I want to see them running and laughing or concentrating over a toy or book they especially love. You'll take posed pictures of your kids throughout their lifetime. Have a photographer come take unscripted pictures of your kids just being kids and you'll have images that will take you back to these fleeting days long after you've found and wiped the peanut butter and jelly off of every surface in your house!
